Wellhead Equipment Testing

YRT is available for your testing needs for wellhead and drilling equipment. We have been performing

  • API 6A – PR2F, and
  • API 16C

testing for several years. Our current pressure capability is 25,000 psig (1,720 bar) hydro and 20,000 psig (1,380 bar) gas. Our custom software and controls ensure that all test parameters are maintained throughout the entire procedure.

We have recently expanded into hyperbaric testing per

  • API 17D

with our first test at 10,000 ft of water pressure.

Also, we are using our 30 years of API fire testing experience to perform

  • API 16D

fire tests on BOP hose assemblies.
